I saved $60.61 and this took place in two transactions.  Yes, someone has a sweet tooth in my house.  Transaction #1 (2) Dial Hand Pumps $2.00 a piece, (12) Air fresheners $.88 a piece, (4) Purex Detergent $1.99 a piece, and (1) Dial Body wash $6.19, Saved $49.86 (including (8) coupons.com coupons, 1 $5 Extra Bucks from email survey, and 2 CVS in-app coupons, plus tax) Total out of pocket $12.72. Transaction# 2 (2) 14 oz Bags of Swedish Fish  $3.99 (3) 2 oz Bags of Swedish Fish  $1.00 Total out of pocket $1.02, after applying my $10.00 in Extra Bucks.

Total paid $13.74, after my SavingsStar.com rebates apply, final total will be $10.74.

Plan your weekly shopping trips on Saturdays for the upcoming week, with store flyers.

You could pay someone to clip coupons for you (Very Lazy). Do yourself, dedicate 30 minutes/week.

Buy groceries in rotation: pantry items this week, freezer items next week, etc...

Take advantage of unused storage space in your house for your stockpile. Do not hoard, lol.


Only coupon for what you need, do not overspend and if you don't have the money for a deal this week, it's okay because the deal will come around again.

CVS Mini Haul 2

Here is my CVS Mini Haul from the Sunday.  It was completed in two transactions.  Transaction #1 I bought (2) Gillette Venus Women Razors at $8.99 each. Used (2) manufacturer coupons $3.00 a piece and (1) CVS in-app coupon of $6 off Gillette of Venus razors.  Total, including tax, out of pocket $7.42 and I earned $10.00 extra bucks.  Transaction #2 I bought (4) bottles of Purex Laundry Detergent at $1.99 per bottle. Used (2) manufacturer coupons of $1.00 of purchase of two bottles & 1 $1 off in-app coupon for $6 laundry and fabric CVS.  Total, including tax, out of pocket $5.52.  I decided to hold onto my $10.00 extra bucks towards my next purchase.  

Now, I have a good stockpile of laundry detergent at this point so, I will focus on building my stockpile in other areas for the next post.

Total spent $12.94, Earned $10 EB,instead of paying $30.24 plus tax.

CVS and Kroger Haul Jan. 26, 2017

Kroger Savings 

I had to do this transaction, in two separate orders, to maximize savings. There was a promotion of Save $3.00 if you bought 6 items along with a Kroger e-coupon of $4.49(when you purchase 3 bottles of Dial Body Wash) and a e-coupon of $1.00 (when you buy 2 bottles of Dial liquid pump), that I used. My first order totaled $10.69, but after redeeming 2 offers on savingstar.com, it brought my total to $5.20.  They had the same e-coupons as Kroger of $1 & $4.49.  My second order totaled $10.74, but after the savingstar.com offer my total was $5.25.

Total for above products $10.45

CVS Savings

This purchase required 4 separate transactions.  For all of my items, it included CVS extra bucks, in-app coupons, and manufacturer coupons (paper coupons).  Transaction #1: 4 packs of Scott Paper Towel, Order Total $23.72, earned $5.00 extra bucks. Transaction #2: 1 Tide Simply, 2 CVS basic toothbrushes, Order Total $1.57, after applying $5 CVS extra bucks, $2 CVS in-app coupon and I earned $2 extra bucks. Transaction #3: 1 Gain Fabric Softener and 1 Tide Simply, Order Totaled $2.88, after MFR coupon of $3.00 and $2 CVS in-app coupon applied. Transaction 4: 3 Kleneex Tissue Boxes and 1 Tide Simply, Order Total $2.18, after 1 MFR coupon of $1, 1 CVS coupon of $3, and 1 extra care Savings Center of $1.00 was applied.  Grand Total spent $30.35.  At full price my total would have been $67.60.

CVS Curbside Express...Had to do it Again

Well, I am truly an advocate for everything that comes down to an awesome deal.  Luckily, I have a best friend who allowed me to order Laundry Detergent for us both, from CVS Curbside Express. Last week, CVS had all Purex Detergent, Fabric Softener and dryer sheets on sale for $1.99 each. My order consisted of 4 bottles of Purex Detergent and 4 bottles of Purex Fabric Softener.  Total was $7.10 including tax and $10 Curbside Express Promo.  Without the sale price each item would have been $6.29 at or $51.50.  I saved $44.40 with this deal!

My 1st CVS Curbside Express Experience

Hello Everyone,

Sorry for the delay, in posting, but you know I have been couponing, up a storm.  I have to tell you about a wonderful service that CVS has.  It's called CVS Curbside Express.  You can do all of your shopping online, get a text/call/email when you order is ready for pickup, drive to the store and pick it up, without ever leaving your car.  Best part about this, is the $10 off a $15 dollar purchase promo. I decided to give it a try, My order consisted of 2 Scott Bathroom tissue 12-pack white ($13.98) and 1 box of Lucky Charms Cereal($1.99). Items Totaled $15.97 plus tax of $1.12 minus Curbside Pickup Promo $10.00, making my total $7.09.  Not bad considering, 1 Scott Bathroom tissue 12-pack at original store price is $11.49 and 1 box of Lucky Charms Cereal at original store price is $4.49. Additionally, I submitted a receipt for a $2.00 credit(buy 2 Scott bathroom tissue) through Checkout51 app.

So, I had a choice, pay full price including tax of $29.22 or pay $7.09 at sale price plus combine with Curbside Promo.
